Many RISE employees come from an academic background or are actively engaged in security research. RISE can draw on a large number of staff members who have successfully completed dissertations in the field of security, and RISE experts frequently conduct training sessions for companies as well as in academic environments across all levels of education.

Large, mission-critical systems across Europe (e.g. eCard, ÖBB, airports, pension insurance systems, major banks, high-security locking systems, cloud accounting solutions, the German electronic patient record, and sports platforms) have been and continue to be built, maintained, and operated by RISE. RISE generates Austrian and European value creation in future-oriented fields for the global market, thereby creating sustainable local jobs.

RISE operates offices, branches, and subsidiaries in Vienna, Berlin, Munich, Bern, Paris, Algiers, Bangalore, Andhra Pradesh, Abu Dhabi, and São Paulo, and maintains a global network of partner companies. The company’s place of origin and registered headquarters is the city of Schwechat near Vienna International Airport, while the corporate headquarters is located in the heart of Vienna, just 300 meters from TU Wien.
